If I cross rir rooster over light Sussex hen would chicks be sex linked and how well would the offspring perform for meat production in males or egg production for females or could I do same with Australorp X light Sussex thanks in advance

Rir roo over light sussex , silver cockerals and red pullets, i would say the cockerals would be good eating, pullets should be reasonable layers.

Australorp / Sussex will give Ok meat bird males and Ok layers too. They won't be colour sexable at hatching.
