Re: Pagancowboy's birds - I sold this breeding group late last year - Was suprised to see this pic as it was one I took when I advertised them! Was a bit disappointed to see them readvertised so soon after I sold them....but glad they have found a good home.
From my understanding they are not quite purebreds, they were lacking in size and type - I got them via an auction and apparently they were culls from a breeder that was breeding bantam malays.

Hi all,

I have just started with Malay - already hooked! I just have the one young pair for now, the cockerel has just gone 3 months and the pullet is around 3.5 months old now. Any thoughts on the birds would be great thanks! I know they are young still so I am waiting until they grow and fill out a little more.

Cheers,

Digging up and old thread here. but just wondering if there is any one I could send a few pictures of my Malays, to give me some idea of how they are looking.
I just picked up a few and not much advice around where I am from.
Thanks
Mick

Hi Makntracks,
Welcome to the forum.
Maybe post your pics here and you can get a cross section of opinions to learn and decide for yourself the quality and potential to breed on for the future.
I can warn you they are addictive, we're often hooked for life.

He's a bit weak in the head
So you'll need a hen with a good head to help you go forward
