Yeah I know Guru :cry: Im wondering how the Buttercup comb would look on my Australorps tho :biggrin: Hey newbie is the Buttercup the only one that has that type of comb? It very unusual.

To my knowledge yes, they were also once called the Flower Bird

No I wouldnt call it the right comb but more a Redcap comb,that has a leader on it.

The leader on this bird is the long skinny antenna like thingy sticking out the back of the comb

In the photo below, the leader is the pointy end of the comb, it "leads the way" back over the head to the right.

Ive read where they cut the testicles out of cockrels can than be done to modify other parts?
