Just wondering do Roosters lose fertility with age I am very frustrated with my Bantam Brahma I don't know how old he is but I am only getting 25% or less fertility. He has been trimmed around the vent etc but just doesn't seem that interested in the hens. As I lock my Roosters up at night normally they are very active when I let them out but I have never seen him mate the hens at all. I feel like giving up with him and buying fertile eggs in the hope of getting a young Rooster for next year.
