the girls are lovely and round, and have good cushions (the fluffy bit in front of their tail), especially the top one. the boy looks to have good shape too, nice and full in the breast. it is worth having a go with them at a show, bearing in mind that competition between blacks in particular is very strong. :D :P

Thanks. we plan on showing their offspring. the rooster has slight hints of brown/red thru out the neck feathers and the girl have one or two spots of white and one girl has a funny comb. so hopefully the chickens will be more solid in color.

Going by the photos the females are particularily nice maybe the male could be a little fuller in the tail but hard to judge from photos sometimes
