is it possible to cross silkie with Dark Barred Plymouth Rocks and there for breed silkie with dark Barred? and if you think it is possible where should i start and what colour silkies should i use? and which should be the male and which should be the hen :o i still will give it a go even if it doesnt work as i love the silkies and like the dark barred colour and have the rest of my live to try and breed it :thumbs: :claps:

I would be going with a Black Silkie and the larges Barred Pekin you can find!

To speed things along a bit, you could contact soozorps about her cuckoo silkies that she is developing. There was an article in the silkie clubs newsletter last year if I remember right.

PS: Yes I understand the difference between barred and cuckoo.
