I suppose not many breeds have white legs and 5 toes. the faverolls would come close but it has feathers on the legs.

to others who do not know Ludlow, he is a famous painter of poultry back in the 18 hundreds. he painted the pure breed poultry of his time. some breeds have changed a great deal since his time but others like this dorking still look very similar. I especially love his paintings of the indian game. his paintings are used in many places now like on cups and place mats. unfortunately old books are often cut up just for the paintings which are sold for large amounts and the books with all their beautiful words which are left are thrown away.

manzo99 it is your turn. I think you can do a better job than me in keeping suspense.
