Best hatch ever from posted eggs - out of the two dozen eggs 21 were viable and looks like I might get a 100% hatch rate from those as the few eggs still there look to be chipping!

my luck changes I can hear some noises coming out of the hatcher day 21 today. happy man

I want to opened it and see ,but I m not going to .very bad habit .I have to wait tell the evening .

so excited ,waited ages for them .

sound like a music to my ears .
I m just hanging around the hatcher .

tomorrow and day after I m expecting more hatch .from a different hatcher ( have 3 going on for the moment ).

duck eggs from Phil should hatch on the Monday too .

Good news jose, my chicks are growing real fast, enougher 3 hatched under a broody but had to move to brooder, 2 blr bantam wyandottes hatched as well :thumbs: .

great to hear .

chicks ever where now good for us .

I have 9 healthy chicks hatched today plus 2 died at hatching .( 1 Birchen and 1 cuckoo0
they are in the brooder box now 4 Aras ,3 Cream LB and 2 Birchen marans .

tomorrow will be more .

Hi every one .
here the up date on the coops building .

yesterday I finished building the coop for the Black copper , replaced they existing small coop .

it is a same as the Birchen coops .they are all going to be the same .

can any body tell me when the summer is going to end because is killing me . need some rain .

Coops are looking good Jose. Next step - grow out pens?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Summer only started in December :sungs :sungs :sungs

and it's not going to cool down any time soon :thermbust :thermbust :thermbust

Do you have a water supply to the runs or do have to carry it?

a problem is not taking a water to the pens . building them is .I ll get there .

this heat is going through any thing no healthy .
I m giving them some Vitamin B complex to get them through .

Hi every one .Merry Xmas and Happy new year to all the chooks lover .

has been a long time since I posted .too busy building and fixing the incubators .plus chooks health problem in the shad with a heat .

all under control now .
all the chooks are out in they outdoor pens .all healthy
they still laying like there is now tomorrow . they are happy .

since Xmas day my luck has changed and a lot chicken are hatching every 3 days now .
passed 70 chicks so far just from Xmas day .

now I have to build them they brooder spaces . they are in the Landry now and the spare Bedroom too ( no guest for the moment . the room is occupied for the time been ) some friends aren t happy about it .
