Hi, I am looking at getting some bantams in a few weeks. I have past experience keeping pekins and silkies, what other bantams are friendly, and low maintenance to keep? I need these bantams to be able to free range in the yard and be big enough for cats not to attack them. (There's a stray)

Thanks

i had some bantam wyandottes rambling with my pekins an silkies at one stage, and they can be lovely little birds. i have also heard, but never experienced, that bantam australorps are also good.

have fun!
