I'm just wondering if australorps continue to go broody right through their years, or stop once they cease laying? I have one full australorp and she still lays so I know they do for at least 4 years of age.
Thanks

I have heard of it happening and have read that some people keeping an old hen around because she still goes broody but doesn't lay.
I have not had this happen because I don't keep old hens that have stopped laying.
They can lay for quite a few years though, just less often.
