Hello,
I've never had anything to do with white leghorns before & brought a dozen eggs & put them under a broody chook yesterday they started to hatch most of them a whitish yellow but a couple of them are a greyish colour which I'am assuming that they are males.

Thanks
Fras

they should all hatch yellow , the roosters develop combs very early so are sexable from 4-6 weeks by that.

Hello,
I will try & get some photo's tomorrow their bodies are all over greyish colour I've found another that has this greyish patch on it's back maybe I should try & contact the person that I brought the eggs off see what they have to say.

How do you attach a photo to a posting hope it's not thru cloud or something because that will leave me out.

Thanks

Are you using a ipad / samsung pad etc, its easy with them.
When you post reply, down the bottom it says in a box choose file, select and then select camera, take photo, and then hit add the file box just below. If you get warning file to big, take the photo again at different distance to try and pixels down. Once file has downloaded hit the box, place inline, this will put it in the big box as bunch of numbers, and add any text , caption you wish and then submit.easy once you get the hang of it :read  .
