I posted on here a couple of months ago regarding sexing my platinum chicks. Everyone thought at least one was a cockerel so I gave him to a lady who has kept chooks for many years. After a couple of weeks she gave "him" back and said he is definitely a she! I'm still not totally convinced only because this particular one has a more reddish and slightly bigger crop than the others, though, in saying that they each have different sized crops. They are now 16 weeks so I'd like to check with you guys again. My 10 yo son went to collect the eggs this morning ( we also have 4 Rhode Island Red x hens already laying) and he said the "suspect cockerel" was in the laying box and there was a much lighter, smaller egg in the box ??
