Hi,
I’ve got a broody pekin hen sitting on one egg, I candled it yesterday and it’s developing! I wasn’t expecting there to be a chick in there because I had just sold my young silkie rooster.
So I’m wondering what the chick will look like, the mum is a white pekin bantam and the dad is a white silkie roo. If you have any silkie cross pekins post pics please!
Thanks!

The chicks will be white without silkie feathering, hens will have mulberry comb and a crest, males should have a red comb, and crest ,all will have a comb more to the silkie style. They will split to silkie feather as it is recessive.. they are cute :laughing ..
