stuff me another useless 'invention'.

if you don't have the time to boil and egg you need to rethink your life choices.

just my 2c

probably appealing for all those who don't know how to cook, or just a new way to charge $2 per egg.

I do have to admit it is clever, but is it necessary?

Cute and clever. If an egg shell is porous, is there any risk when the chemical reaction takes place, that nasties that shouldn't be inside eggs might find their way in?

Shaz that was exactly my biggest concern.

It's clearly aimed at those who don't have access to a pot/water/heat. ANYONE can cook an egg can't they?

That is so clever. ca oh2 is a fairly innocuous chemical that produces hest on mixing with water....

so clever!!!

So are they a one-use-only thing?

Yes one use.

All you'd need is good insulation and an exothermic reaction (mix this with that and it "self heats"). A common one is adding acid to water, and yes a hydroxide to water as well.

There would be all types of safety regulations and personally, a good idea in theory, but in practise too many "what if's"

lots of people eat breakfast on the train on their way to work, so could be good for that. But bad if you turned up at work with egg yolk down your shirt if you got bumped eating it though.

It is very clever, I will have to give them that.
My main concern though is if people don't have time to boil an egg, then there is something seriously wrong. If they can't spend 5 minutes to boil a few eggs, they need to have a look at their life.

That's my 2c.

clever idea in theory, but funny how in the pictures they show a shell-less egg sitting in there.. if you're on the train eating breakfast for example, what do you do with the shell? not like you'd want to stick it in your bag to throw out later. Perhaps it would be better to choose another food to eat on the go?

The egg appears to have a shell to me. If you look closer you can see the shell and a bit of the membrane.

It's a good idea but I'm not sure if it will be of much use to people

People on the train can't boil and eat an egg anyway, they have to hold on to their mobile phone whilst they are talking.......

I think the world IS going mad....... :sungs
