i used to show chickens(when i was 7) and i won one time best of bird or somthing...i wanted to show one of my silkies again that i jus got and are from a good line of silkie's....what is the curriculum for the fair..thank you

hi slimkid,
by curriculum do you mean the things that the birds are judged by?
if you do a websearch for the american silkie bantam club you should find the american standards on that site, and people who can help you with the way the birds are judged in america.

Your local Agriculture show can be a good place to start. Just get a catalogue and enter them in a month or so before the show day. Then a little preparation (if you click on "articles" there is some more info), put them in before judging starts...and hopefully you will be successful.

Poultry Club shows are another place to show

if you private message me with a postal i am more than happy to copy the page and post it to you...the silkie standards are very well explained
in simple terms even i can understand....I have never shown a chook...
