Last show of the year next week for me and my birds.
I wanted to thank everyone who has 'liked' the pictures and given us support over 2015. It is very much appreciated.

We gained quite a few BoS, Res BoS, lots of Ch SF and Best of Breed awards this year and all because of the advice and encouragement of the BYP team and other breeders who have gone out of their way to help.

This has been only my third year showing and I have learned so much from you all. Next year I am hoping to keep up the work achieved this year with the birds. Thank you all and hope you breed some champions this season

Hope you enjoyed the year that's the main thing, meeting new people, catching up with others, helping, learning, happy times, some not so happy times. All part of this great thing some of us do. Now we watch and wait and hope all these chickens turn out how we want them too

I can say I have enjoyed the journey immensely and I watch the little ones every day looking for another few champions in there.

There is never the 'perfect bird' but gee it feels good when you see one that is close. Whether that is mine or belongs to someone else it doesn't matter.

A good bird is a sight to see.

Yes a good bird is a good bird, no matter what breed it is or who owns it. I love this time of year watching all the chickens growing up. Watching the growing feed bill.....not so much.

Colac Ag show was today. Judge Mr Bob French
Champion Bird of Show was Graham Kemp pile OEG large hen.
We managed Champion SF heavy, Champion SF bantam and Reserve Bird of Show with a white Wyandotte pullet.

A nice end to the year :big grin:
