Hi there, can anyone tell me how many days call duck eggs need to be incubated, is it the same as standard ducks?

Hello Jo Chicken

All ducks derived from the mallard take 28 days to hatch. The only exception to the 28 day hatch is the muscovy which takes around 35 - sometimes a little longer.

Calls are a great breed, and i enjoy mine greatly! What colours do you have?

I just purchased a pair of apricot. Very sweet. Their offspring were better looking than them selves (in regard to being true to type for the call's) but very nice just the same. I assumed that the eggs would prob take around the same amount of time but thought i would check just the sam as it would be very interesting if they were still in the turner while hatching. Thankyou for your help, will put them in the incubator now.
