OK, so we have some geese, we'd like to show them...

Many questions!

Firstly, can you take a skittish young adult goose and expect it to become tame enough to be well behaved for showing?

Secondly, what's the best way to do it?

Next, what's the best way to prepare it for a show?

I might be completely on the wrong track but you never know if you never ask...

Cheers all

we showed some sebastapols last year didnt have a lot ofhandling we had a 6 by 4 pen and i shut a pair together in this about a fortnight prior to the show trying to walk past quite a few times a day giving a small feed each time about 3 days prior to the show they come into the bathroom in a half full bath with some old towels on the bottom so they dont slip and wash themselves for half an hour we put them back in their pen on fresh clean straw til show day we box the morn of the show and try to unload one of the first birds so they dont stress in the box
