With regard to getting a new companion for Anders, would it be a good idea to purchase a goosling and hand-raise her, socialising them together during the daytime as she grows a little older.

If I were to do this it would mean that Anders had to wait a little longer for a friend, but he is doing quite well now and I thought that it might help them to develop a bond if I got her young, and that she might also help him appreciate his new night enclosure a bit more than he currently does.

Apologies for so many questions on the same topic. Once I get some more poultry (can't help myself. Too many lovely critters out there!) I will perhaps cease being so neurotic about this one gander!
