Ok it has been 2 weeks since my ducks started laying and they haven't missed a day but the eggs are still smaller than my chicken eggs. How long until they start laying real eggs? They are reasonably small ducks (KCs) but I'm sure their eggs should be much bigger.

It takes about 1month.

Sometimes longer.

She may never lay bigger eggs than your hens, it all depends on her genetics.

Can I incubate them if they are still that small in a couple of weeks? All 3 of my ducks are laying them that size.

You can incubate them but i dont reccomend it.

The ducklings will be smaller than they should be. It is the same with hen eggs - pullet eggs should not be set as it will create runty chickens, or ducklings.

You may find that they are not fertile also due to it being so early.
