I had half a dozen ducklings hatch today but 2 of them pipped and broke through the narrow end of the egg and not the end with the air sac. Anyone else have this happen before? Is it normal?

i've had a couple of chicks do it. One made it with help from me and one didn't. So I really don't have any advice, but for me - I'd help if it seems stuck (you can't really lose anything).

I helped both of them and they are fine. I was worried that they would run out of air!
