How long do geese live?

.... And how long do chickens live for? (I know they are not water birds)

Thanks
Paul.

10-12 years for light breeds in general - sometimes longer.

Heavy breeds up to 25 - some say older.

I had a Austral Orp that lived for just over 10 years ... Didnt stop laying either.

Drake killed her not long ago.. He was frustrated and too heavy for her.

My original breeding pair of Sebastopols are 13 years old now, looking as beautiful as ever, dont look old, and still breeding for me every year. It will be interesting to see how long they breed for.

Same kind of rule as small dogs and large dogs.
Large breed (old fashioned chickens... lets not talk about the disposable commercials...) chooks can live up to 10 years, but the bantams, we've had a bantam rooster get to 14 before the fox took him one night.
