Hi guys

I have recently put a female Muscovy with my male and as expected he immediately began doing his 'thing'.

However he has been extremely rough with her and has basiacally ruined her right eye and removed all of her feathers from her head. Often leaving her bleeding from the head after each occurance. This is only after a month or so.

Is this sort of behaviour normal??

They get to spend a bit of time roaming the yard but they spend a considerable amount of time together in their fenced off area.

Should they be separated or is this ok??

I know might sound a little silly but I am a little concerned for her and I am quite new to this.

Also are there any successful methods to get her to lay eggs?? I am hoping if there are eggs he will kinda let her go a little.

Thanks in advance for any help.
