Can you always see ducks mating?
My mandarin duck laid 5 eggs in the box, but not sure if fertile or not.
I've never seen them mating.

Ducks are sometimes a bit more discreet than chooks - but not my Mussies. I would assume that they are fertile (unless you want to break one open to check) and set them.

I will let the duck sit on the eggs, feel sorry to brake the egg!
Just have Mandarins over a year now and first eggs so far.
I have another pair, but no eggs yet .
Mandarins are a bit nervous ducks and apparently they mate in the water.
I see them come in the water to have a bath, but have never seen them mating.
Will see what happens?
