My young lavender Muscovy Drake dropped dead today from no apparent cause - (nothing to indicate that he was unwell in the past few days)
Question - how long might the ducks remain fertile from him?

I know that with other duck breeds (mallards) fertility can last for some time. Are mussies the same?

Sorry about your drake :(

I'd assume that Muscovys are the same - eggs should be fertile for a week or two weeks (maybe longer) as long as the drake was at a good level of fertility before departing this life.
