I got this duck us a unwathed pet. Kind of I saved it's life!
What kind of duck is it and what gender it could be?
It's still young as it has still some of the baby fluffy feathers!!
Thanks

Looks to be about 6 weeks old, going by the length of the wing feathers. It's got the colouring of an Aylesbury but it's the wrong shape (too upright and much too ligh in build). So I'd say it's just a backyard cross-breed. At this age you should be able to tell the sex by listening to the voice - does it make a loud quack (female) or a softer, slightly raspy sound (male) or is it still making a peeping noise (male)? At 6 weeks if it's a male it's probably still making a peeping noise but if it's a female it should definitely be capable of making a proper, unmistakeable and loud quack.
