I have recently acquired some differently coloured muscovy ducklings, from lavender parents.
They are white and pale grey as a duckling as opposed to yellow and grey.

has anyone seen these white ducklings before, and know what causes it please?

They are beautiful. I've not seen that colour in mussie ducklings before, nor noticed such strong eye stripes.

Search this forum, there are some threads about ducklings hatching with white down. You may wish to legband or otherwise identify those particular ducklings because once they feather up you may not be able to distinguish them. Can't remember if images are in our gallery, it may be worth a search there as well. Grey in ducklings will usually mean blue in adults.
