hi guys . honk
i have a couple of nests 1 with fresh eggs and a old nest where my spare ducks have been laying and i have been meaning to throw the eggs away but i have been away and was going to do it this week there is about 20 or more eggs there and i think some of the eggs are about 3 weeks or more? and when i went down to check my birds today 1 of my spare ducks has just gone clucky . my question is will any of the eggs hatch ? as i have been thinking of letting her have a go at hatching some eggs but has anyone heard of a duck sitting on so many eggs before as most of my girls start sitting when thay have about 14 eggs . help the buggers are breeding out of control . also when is the best age to let my ducklings out with the other birds . as my drake is real cranky with them and he has a go at them . i let them out each morning now into a large pen but thay are only going on to 4 weeks and i dont trust my drake with them . any help would be great .
regards jase

Is it easier to lock the drake up?
Can she sit on all of the eggs or are some popping out? I'd get rid of those.
I was told that the eggs are dormant until there is constant heat and then they start to form. But I'm not sure how long they can be kept in the nest before they go off.
