I have been told up to 15 years if kept n good condition, and not interfered with by foxes/dogs.

I spose some could live longer and other shorter - it is unusual for them to lay for much longer than yours is though.

regards

Honk

Thanks Honk, she has never had anything wrong with her and is in good condition, if she lived until she was 15 that would be great :D

She is a Pekin X Khaki Campbell.

I bought her and another duck as a pair when they were ducklings and Donald was the he of the pair, it had a curly tail, but when its partner died it started to lay eggs, so its was never a drake but dominate over the other duck. by that time it was Donald and would always be Donald so we kept calling it that even though it layed eggs.
