Hi everybody

I have a geese that has suddenly lost his wing feathers on both sides, I have no idea if he is pulling them out or what is going on.

I do have 2 geese both males however the other one is normal (at the moment).

Any suggestions?

Di

We to have geese and all I can sugest is the two males may be fighting. We have males that have lost feathers by the other male grabbing them.I am guessing that one of the males is more dominent than the other. They do grow back.Maybe someone else may have more suggestions.Good luck

Hi

The wing feathers are usually the first to go when geese start to moult. I have some starting now as the weatehr warms up.

I would suggust that is what is happening - nothing to worry about.

Honk
