I found a good online bookshop in the UK. They sell their books fairly cheap and don't charge for p&h.
They have a lot of poultry books.

I ordered some books, already and was impressed by the smooth transaction and how fast the books were delivered (I think I received them within 10 days or so).
The books I bought were:
The domestic duck (Chris Ashton), paperback A$ 24,-
Domestic geese (Chris Ashton), hardback A$ 32,02

The book that was mentioned in the previous post (The Illustrated Guide to Chickens by Celia Lewis, hardback) sells for A$ 26.07

All that without any extra costs!

Happy shopping!

edited to set the link, stupid me

I've had a few people recommend that site to me. I refuse to look because me and online bookshops are a BAAAAAD combination for my credit card, and I'm currently not earning money.

Actually, me and bookshops of any kind are a bad combo ... :)

So yeah, thanks SO much. Now go away ;)

My goodness. You are right nostress. I've had a look, and unfortunately was forced to buy The Illustrated Guide to Chickens because it was only $26.45, with free postage to Australia!!

Trying hard not to look at what else they have in their catalogue.

This is an excellent online bookshop - cheap and fast. It is almost a crime not to buy  My OH uses it regularly. Almost doesn't bother looking anywhere else.

Wow what a good site
I seen 1 book title was something like, favourite chicken recipes. about 90 pages and under $3 including free shipping, how can they do that?
The book is probably really bad but still very cheap.
:thanks: more ways to spend my lack of money :D

And all you respected people giving positive reviews to the site can GO AWAY as well. Don't you KNOW you never recommend online bookstores to librarians? We have no self-control around books!!

(sigh) :)

PS I'm with bunyip on this one :)

Bad... bad, bad, bad...

I know what I'm doing with my day off tomorrow. Buying more books, and then reshuffling the living room so i can actually put them on a shelf somewhere!
