im going for one of the langshans or one of the modern game.i like the large hen lany and the bantam hen is also very good and those moderns are quite good as well though im not a qualified judge so i could be wrong.i dont mind the white leghorn cock birds they are fairly good leghorns.
whats your thoughts daniel whats going to win?
thanks

simon

I'm just learning! But I loved looking at all the entries! I only wished I was more organised to get some entries in for myself, would have been a good learning curve however not to bore you all...a sad family event here around the time entries were due, not to worry, no excuse and I won't be missing out next time! I'll have another look this afternoon and see what I think, why not!?

I'm not quite sure why the judge couldn't sort these birds out now!! There is only around 45 birds and they don't even need to be pulled out from the pens. Quite an easy task I would have thought, prehaps he is building the suspence.

Judging the birds is the easy part. Commenting on all the birds is what takes the time.

Did you know that when it comes to silver or gold spangled hamburghs there is more points allocated to markings than type. Type is only allocated 10 points while markings is allocated 60 points.
