ruff I'll be in that! Maybe you could have the age, diet, weight, and dressed weight. I have a Muscovy pen to get through so i could enter a Muscovy drake - one is in the freezer already.

a mutt class would be good too. if i thought there would be heapsof interest i would push for a dressed chook class too   not sure how that would be judged.

in dog shows we have "companion class" for non-showable colours, or castrated males etc. so why not a "prettiest mongrel" class, with a best of boy & girl, plus runners up? i think a "beautifully ugly" class would be great for the most peculiar chooks only a mother could love :-)

can we have "dressed bird" rather than chook? i know my turkeys have always been more impressive dressed than my chooks :-)

i am only new to this, but what about a novelty event within the show, maybe a "Guess my breed"

or an "odd one out" you know , the colour or features you get and go " where the heck did that come from.

just my 2 cents worth.
i might even have a go,
what about a newbie award

cheers
