It can sometimes be useful to set your camera to take several photos in quick succession, especially if your bird is moving. I have a little Kodak camera and the following set of pics of my Black Ancona walking away from me
was taken using the burst setting:

some more hints.

HOLD your camera steady.

take way more photos than you need.

be happy to have plenty of photos and to look through them all and take pride in doing the best you can. never trust the quality so make every effort to make each photo your best and hope one is useful. remember you are trying to convey a message to the viewer and there is nothing worse than having to make sense of a blurry photo.

Very informative for taking pictures, everyone has shares his own experiences. i find great tips for photography. Huge collection share here i have read twice this thread.
