Wow - thankyou!! :-D :-D :-D Yes, the little duckling is much bigger now (3 months old) and is going in her first show this weekend (Cooma Ag Show). She will be thrilled to know that she is on the BYP home page!

Thankyou to everyone who voted in the competition (for my pic or any pic) :th

Well done everyone! Must remember to enter the next one - it is a lot of fun seeing the photos.

And Rach, I hope Santa's Very Little Helper does well at Cooma ...I have to ask...will she get to wear her hat? ;-)

LOL, I'd need to make her a bigger hat. It wouldn't even fit on the end of her bill now :laughing Thanks for the well wishes about the show :-D

Congratulations to all. Even those who didn't win the big prizes.

One of these days I'll get my act into gear and submit an entry too...

I hope she has her own special (shorter) name now that she has a definite web presence! :-)

Thanks! She and her Dad collectively won the Open Encouragement Award :)

And, yes, I have to give her a proper name... I have a 'maritime explorers' theme for the ducks.

Oh isn't she a looker! Lovely and well done to you both! ..still think it is a shame about the lack of headwear though..it really can add a little 'something' to a gal's presentation.

I'm showing both photos to Mr TT to prove that headgear does not diminish the bird but in fact enhances prize winning ability.

*SIGH*..yes, my hopes for similarly clad fowl were dashed before I even articulated them in Spotlight last Christmas, standing before the display of wee hats to hear a resounding NO in my ear from Himself. He doesn' t say it often, but when he does ...

Congratulations to everyone who entered & to the three top entries !

Took Took,
Your mistake was taking him with you to Spotlight... or... having spotted them, you could have walked nonchalantly past & called me when he was busy with something else another day & we could have snuck down there without him in tow. ;-)

70%cocoa,
Does Bluebeard count as an explorer? Perhaps for her dad's name?
Infante for the 'duckling', I think would suit.
