Hi There
We have just 'inherited' this lovely goose who will be coming to join our small flock of chickens (after an isolation period).
Can anyone help me to identify the breed? I assume it is some kind of cross?

He looks like a tufted roman goose, although I 'm not sure they come in that colour.

Nice goose though :-) https://www.roysfarm.com/roman-goose/

Geese will bully chickens, prevent them from eating, mess up their water. Free range not so bad, geese will also foster baby chickens (whether the chicks want to be fostered or not) and act as the geese police and break up bickering between cockerels. It does look like a Roman Tufted cross, maybe with a Chinese or Chinese-cross.
