I was given 4 chooks that are a 'bitza', bit silky bit bantam several other 'bits' I'm sure! Anyway they are a mix of white, brown, speckled...and now they all have greenish coloured tail feathers but also look like they have the fluffy feathers underneath like hens almost ready to lay??

So does the green tail feathers always mean its a rooster??

Not necessarily, can you post pics of your birds? Probably better in "What Is This?" section though,

Nick

QueenF is correct, Pen full of cross bred roosters :D They would make a good choir for early morning chorus, Sunday roast or farmyard pets 8)

They were given to us from a friend and he did say he would take any roosters back....what a shame no hens came from his entire litter! Will have to take them back before my very large Rhode Island Rooster realises there are 4 extra roosters in the coop! No wonder my hen seems to be freaking out! She is so out numbered!
