I know your kids are still small but heck, they're still big for 4 weeks!! I must just be used to my bantam/standard x-bred babies :) (still the size of an adult hand at four weeks ... very cute :) ).

Thankyou Martin and Raf,

I'm not doing so well on the girl front. Was thinking about keeping chick 3 if turned out as a girl. oh well.

:thanks:

DOnt be too quick to cull No. 3.

Standing next to the male Silver laced, you can see it has way more feathers (a female thing), but I would still say male as it should have as many feathers as No.5.

Mick knows his line better than we do, he will advise Im sure.

Raf

Hi :bounce:

Chick 1 is one of those stupid sports. Cockrel, Cull it.

Chick 2 is a cockrel and is a Blue Laced Silver. Cannot tell anything about the quality of this guy yet but worth having a look at.

Chick 3 is a sensational little BLG pullet. Keep Raf away from that one ! The other boys think it's a cockrel but i think she'll be a spunky pullet with an ugly comb. Too much breast feathering for my line for her to be a he.

Chick 4 is a Silver Laced pullet and looking the goods thus far. Never mind the straight comb, it will not effect breeding in anyway, it just shows i ran a few too few Roosters for the year.

Chick 5 is a BLG pullet, will not come up as good as no.3 but hang on to her so we can have a looksie

:thanks:

:woot: Really wanted chick 3 to be a girl, that would be wonderful :claps:

I will post more pics in a few weeks to confirm things.

I would have thought 3, 4 and 5 are girls too, the others cockerels :)
