Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a lovely cute bantam. I fell in love with her and couldn't resist when collecting some other girls.
The breeder said she is a Wyandotte, but now I'm not sure. I was told she was at POL. She has gone broody 3 times since I
got her in November 2009. She lays small white eggs in between broodiness, but not very regularly.
She has feathery feet, which you can't see.

I can't find anything that looks like her when I search on the internet. My husband thinks she may be a "cuckoo" style/colour.
Hope someone might know.

Thanks Lara

I think she is a pekin bantam.

Have to agree, you have a purebred Cuckoo Bantam Pekin. She is a lovely one at that.

Thank you everyone. It's good to know what she is now and it makes more sense.

By the way, her name is Dotty.

i had one like this and her name was Millie, it was sad since my parents told me to get rid of all my chooks. i haven't seen Millie for ages! its been about a year now! she's probably an old girl now who has brood countless chicks in her life time! she was purchased Victoria Market for $15.00. she was a very affectionate girl who loved me digging worms for her, while turning the soil in the garden for the vegetable patch.
