I'm pretty new to this chook stuff so please be gentle
I have 2 (I've been told) bantam leghorns that are about the same age... but I have no idea how old they are. I got them off a couple who were moving and couldn't keep them and I no longer have their details to ask them for more info about the chooks.
Please could you tell me what you think they are...

OK...so I really couldnt be sure- but I am going to have a stab at this one- just to see if I have picked right- as I am only learning about sexing chooks at the moment myself. IF they are the same age I would say Top is a cockerel- and lower photo a pullet.

Nice ducks by the way... ( webbed feet are more my thing - but hope I am right on the chook sexing)

i agree, top is a boy, and the bottom is a girl. look at the difference in the shape of the comb and wattles (the red bits on their head) and their tails.

Thanks for the replies. So that is what I was thinking.
When would the little fella start crowing? Haven't heard a peep from him yet.
