Hi all,
have got a batch of lavender araucanas that are just over 3 weeks old and thought i would throw some pics out for people to see. Its my first batch of araucanas so am not too sure what to look for when sexing them. Your thoughts and opinions would be much appreciated! :thanks:

Hmmmm..........
Not a clue!!
With mine I can have an educated guess at around 10 days with first feathers are thru, in mine the hens tend to feather up first (shoulder feathers are the give away) But at this stage you will just have to wait and see. I usually wait until I get rooster feathers, eggs, crowing.
Sorry - keep us posted

I can tell with mine at a couple of weeks due to pinkness of the comb. It was very accurate, but may just work on the strain I hatched.

Just to close the Index listing.
