HI

I have been given this cockerel and would like some help in identifying his background. Heavy bodied and feathered shanks. Possible Faverolle??
Colour??

Normal 4 toes, three forward and one towards the rear, with heavy feathering down onto the outside toe.

Hmm that rules out pure Faverolles then.

Here is a link to the breed profile: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7968987

I'd be guessing that he is a light sussex faverolle cross by the look of him.

Could he be a Sussex/Brahma cross?

i don't think he is a firdt cross of anything.

not braham because he would have a rose comb

not faverolls as he would have a beard.

the only thing i can guess at is that he may have had sussex way back.
