Hi there,

our girls growing fast (who'd guessed :nuts ) and I thought I share a video with you, recorded today, to get your opinion about the sex. Especially the Araucana is our "maybe" boy. I searched the internet and found a UK website where I could compare the boy and girl at the same age like mine. To me it looks like a girl, but looking at the feathers I am not so sure anymore.

What to you think, also of the other girls (hopefully)?

Thanks for your feedback.

The Araucana is a male. I think the rest are females.

The araucana is a male for sure ( but nicely coloured once he finishes feathering up )
The only other I am not sure of is the Sussex

Thank you so much. This is what I wouldn't hear but I guessed it already. Yes he is a "beauty" and he knows it :-D

Hm, so no blue/green eggs .... unfortunately. Wondering if there is someone here in the area (north of Brisbane) who would be happy to swap with a girl same age?

Otherwise we probably just keep him until we get the first complaints from neighbors :-P
