this chicken is meant to have araucana heritage (it hatched from a green egg).

we went on holidays for 4 weeks and it has grown a lot it ids now bigger than the light Sussex that hatched at the same time.

while to me it doesn’t have the classic upright stance of a rooster I am suspicious that early morning wake up calls will start soon.

what do people think?

I'd say not a great deal of araucana heritage! But I agree it is a boy. You can see his saddle feathers starting to come through - a real give away.
