My friend gave me this chicken today. Not sure on what breed it is and if it will go well with my pekin bantam and silkies. Advise on how to raise and what it is will be great. Thanks

It's some kind of Game. Perhaps a blue wheaten Old English Game. They're great chickens, lively with lots of character.

Thanks for that. Will it get pecked by the brown hens though. It is quite small compared to my pekin bantam and silkies in terms of body but stands taller. Not sure how it will go tomorrow with the bigger brown hens

Will not necessarily be bullied.... attitude is more important than size. Put them together in a large space so the new year has plenty of room to get away if needed and see how they go. There may be a bit of a squabble as they sort out who is the most important so supervise their first meeting.
