Trouble is there are lots of breeds of game chickens! They are full size but smaller than Barnavelder/Rhode Islands. About the same size as my brown leghorn. They are also very quick!

Please let me know the breed name. Thankyou.

when breeders suggest that "pure-bred" will not breed pure doesn’t the term become meaningless?

Perhaps I waste too much time on face book but there are people there selling eggs for $50.00 or more a dozen that suggest it is normal or even expected that "pure-bred" will not breed true to type.

Obviously I am being unreasonable to suggest that Australorps for instance should have dark legs :-) and that "Australorps" with yellow or white legs are not "pure" Australorps"

Yes Facebook is a dreadful platform for discussions about purity and breed traits or in fact anything that is a bit difficult or challenging. However getting back to the topic of this thread, I agree they don't look right for a pure bred game of any description, but they look closest to an OEG. I guess you realise they are all roosters too?
