hi,this bird is about 10 weeks old and im not sure of sex what do you all reckon?

well in real life this bird has female characteristics so to make sure ive sent feathers away for dna testing im hoping its female...cant wait to open the results its very exciting,like a scratchy when you think you've won lol :rofl:

Fingers crossed it's a female. It doesn't look quite as lanky as my males did at 10 weeks, can't tell what the saddle feathers look like though, but hopefully it is a girl.

You'll have to update with the DNA results when you find out. :clnava

yes i will post results, it hasnt got any pointed saddle feathers at all and it done the female crouch the other day so heres hoping !

Awesome! I had a feeling she was a she. Nice and quick turnaround with the test too.

I've got two chicks just shy of 5 weeks and going by their combs it's already obvious they are males, damn them, lol.

Congrats on getting the result you were after!
