Hi all, I have a couple of 4wk old bantams. One is a belgian d'uccle and the other is a pekin (according to the place I purchased them). They are gorgeous. I was wondering if it is too early to determine sex on them, and also if people could confirm the pekin. It is grey, with ruffled feathers.

hi moonbaby, I think they both may be crosses and by the pictures, the grey frizzle looks female but hard to tell yet, very cute though !! the other looks like a boy and nice colour.

I agree with klw. The grey one is probably a girl and the buff one is pretty definitely a boy. Pretty chicks!

Sigh, hopefully his crow will be very quiet. Our last rooster had to be rehomed after a week as the neighbour came over with a lengthy list stating why he wasn't happy with a rooster next door...

The pekin is a frizzle, and would say a lavender colour pullet but the other is certainly a cock
