I've just had 4x Light Barred Plymouth Rocks & 1x DBPR chick hatch and my research for sexing has confused me a bit because, yes, some of them have the "defined" spot on the head but they have some light patches as well so I don't know how this affects the sexing ability. Can anyone out there advise me, please? I know one is supposed to take into account whether their legs are darker or not but it's very difficult to tell with this lot. Theese photos are only taken at a day or two old. That may also account for why not much is showing on their wings so maybe I will be able to tell better when they're a week old. Anyone?
First, the group shot:

1st chick is rather confusing as it only has 2x tiny specks on it's head.
