Looking for help one more time one sexing these 3 full blood siblings. They are made up of 4/8 Anacauna 3/8 Leghorn and 1/8 New Hampshire (explains the brown one lol). I am putting them up for sale and most inquiries are for two hens for the backyard. I am hoping to give them the best odds of getting girls so they do not have to go through bringing in another hen or the selling of a rooster. My thoughts are that they are all hens.
I love the lavender legs they got from the rooster.

Araucana are hard to sex at the best of times. Once you cross them to a breed with completely different characteristics, you often can't reliably sex them until the secondary characteristics kick in - they either lay eggs or crow.

hi stephenie they do look like pullets atm except pic 3 that looks like a boy but as sue said araucanas are notoriously difficult to sex but the best way is to look closely at each birds saddle feather area and see if any are pointed that usually means a boy it seems to be the most accurate way of sexing ara's.
